Round 1 - Circuit Paul-Armagnac, Nogaro

Nogaro Race Weekend Recap

Nogaro marked my debut in the French F4 Championship. It was a challenging weekend, the constant changing conditions made it even more demanding and pushed me to adapt and learn quickly in every session.

Friday – Qualifying
Qualifying was especially tough, with heavy rain and electrical issues affecting the car and my session. This meant I had to put in one good lap, which resulted in P26. On my behalf, I was very disappointed with my results, but I stayed focused to make the most of the upcoming races.

Saturday – Races 1 & 2

Race 1
Start: P26
Finish: P15
A decent start off the line at Lap 1 saw me in a good position. For the rest of the race, I focused on consistency and mistake free to finish P15 in my first ever F4 race. Given the circumstances, the result was strong.

Race 2
Start: P26
Finish: P16
Due to heavy rain the race started under the safety car. Like race 1, I focused on adapting to the wet conditions and staying out of trouble. It was a chaotic race and I finished P16.

Sunday – Race 3
Start: P30
Finish: P26 / NC
I had a strong start and saw myself P21 in the first few laps of the race. However, I spun at turn 4 and got stuck in the gravel. Eventually I rejoined the track and continued the race several laps down and finished P26.

Overall Reflections
Throughout the weekend, I was doing my best to change the results to a positive weekend. There are positives to take, but I know there’s still plenty of room for improvement heading into the next round in Dijon.
